Jewelry Care
-
Here are some tips on how to care for and maintain your jewelry.
When wearing jewelry, it’s important not to spray perfume, alcohol, or any derivatives directly on them. For gold-plated jewelry, we recommend avoiding contact with water to prevent the gold color from fading. It’s advisable to store your jewelry in a fabric pouch or a jewelry box. Cleaning them is very easy; with a little soap and warm water, gently brush them with a small brush to restore their shine. Another method (only for silver jewelry, not gold-plated) is to dampen a cloth, sprinkle it with baking soda, and let the jewelry rest for a while before rinsing it with water.
- The gold plating is not guaranteed to last forever. The speed at which it fades depends on various factors, such as the use of chemical products on the skin, body perspiration, or even the skin’s PH level. For these reasons, it’s recommended to be aware that gold-plated jewelry requires more care. If you find that the plating doesn’t last for you, choosing silver jewelry might be a better option.
